According to Saint John

In each of the scenes of the Apocalypse Tapestry, Saint John is depicted, gazing with a sorrowful expression at the visions of "what is to come".

I tried to translate this state of mind through 24 portraits of men. All different, but all expressing shock, fear, or questioning.
