The 7 trumpets
The seven trumpets, described in the Book of Revelation, are signs announcing successive judgments.
The first four strike nature: vegetation is burned, the sea is ravaged, river waters become bitter, and some of the stars darken.
The last three trumpets, called "woes," directly affect humanity: infernal beings torment men, a huge army causes the death of a third of humanity, and then the last trumpet announces the final fulfillment of God's plan and the establishment of his reign.

The first trumpet: hail and fire
And behold, the First Genius trumpeted. And immediately there came a fall of hailstones and fiery stones mixed with clots of blood.
And this was projected onto the Earth. Then a third of the Earth burned, a third of the trees. Every green plant on the Earth burned.

The second trumpet: the shipwreck
Then the Second Genius trumpeted. And immediately the great mountain burst into flames, and, all in flames, was thrown into the sea.
And the sea, in its third part, became blood. And, as a result, a third of the inhabitants of the sea, those endowed with life, perished, and a third of the ships on the sea perished.

The third trumpet: absinthe
Then the Third Genius trumpeted. From the sky fell an enormous star, burning like a torch. It reached the living springs of the waters and all the watercourses in their third.
The name of this star is absinthe. That is why all the waters turned a third of their color green.
And many human beings perished because of these waters, which had a green color and a bitter taste.

The 4th Trumpet: Darkness - Diptych
"But when the Fourth Genius trumpeted, a third of the sun, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars were struck dead. And a third of these celestial bodies were darkened; and the day and the starry night lost a third of their light."

Now, as I watched all this, I suddenly heard the sound of wings of a Genie hovering at the zenith of the sky. And this Genie, in his resounding voice, proclaimed:
"Calamity upon calamity upon calamity! Because of the Three Other Geniuses who have not yet sounded their trumpets!"

The 5th trumpet: the grasshoppers
And immediately a star fell from the sky to earth, containing within it the key to the Pit of the Abyss.
Now, by means of this key, the Pit of the Abyss was immediately opened. And from it rose a smoke like the vapors of some immense furnace.
And that finished darkening the sun and veiling the azure sky.
And from within this Smoke, countless gigantic Flying Scorpions emerged, instructed not to harm the plants of the earth, nor anything green or arboreal, but only to harm human beings. (…)
As for the appearance of these giant winged scorpions, they resembled warhorses harnessed for battle. On their heads was a kind of crown of a reddish-copper-colored substance. Their faces were like human faces, and their hair was like women's hair.

The 6th trumpet: the myriad of horsemen
For here is the Sixth Genius trumpeting.
Immediately these Four Geniuses were released from their chains, because they are always ready, by their nature, to attack and kill in an hour, or in a day, or in a month or in a year, according to instructions received, all human beings, even if it is a third in total.
As for the number of squadrons of Cavalry Engineers, I know it because I heard it stated with my own ear. It was two hundred times a thousand times a thousand Cavalry Engineers.
But if it concerns the appearance of the Riders themselves and their horses, this is how they appeared to me in my vision:
The riders wore armor the color of fire, hyacinth, and blazing sulfur. And the stallions they rode had lion heads, with mouths from which flames, smoke, and sulfurous vapors spewed forth.
However, as a result of these three noxious exhalations, a third of human beings perished.

The 7th trumpet: the announcement of victory
Indeed, the turn of the Seventh Genius has now arrived.
When, like the Six Others, he had sounded his trumpet, there were resounding Voices in Heaven that proclaimed: "To our Rabb-the-God and to his Messiah the Kingdoms of the World, to him alone henceforth all dictatorship, even into eternity of eternities"
Immediately the twenty-four old Sheikhs collapsed on their faces and worshipped God
