Approach

First, there is the work with the model.

The model poses, freezing an attitude, for a brief moment... there is an urgency to seize the instant, to not let slip this fleeting feeling that we are all molded by the same humanity. The body of the individual posing then becomes the body that speaks, that speaks of us, of our human condition.

For some years now, the body has no longer been simply a human body. There is a bird's head, placed there almost by chance, replacing the human head. Through its presence, the body becomes hybrid and leads us to consider the relationship between the real and the imaginary not as a pair of opposites, but by integrating the imaginary into reality. This allows this hybrid to exist.

It is through this prism that I can construct my narrative, which I want to be resolutely contemporary, using allegory to question humanity, bringing colour in resonance with that of the world.
